IELTS (INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE TESTING) COURSE IN AMRITSAR

    IELTS is administered in two streams:
    • Academic Training Exam
    • General Training Exam
    • Which one should I take?
      It is important that you choose the correct test on your application form. The institution or agency that will be receiving your score will tell you which exam to take. If you are planning on taking an undergraduate or postgraduate course at an English college or university, you should take the academic Training exam. If you are taking the IELTS for professional purposes, you should also take the Academic Training exam.General Training exam tests the English language communication skills that are needed for those who want to live and work in English speaking countries.The Listening and Speaking section are the same in both the Academic and General tests.
      ==> Where can I take IELTS?More than 800 test centres around the world administer IELTS. All the test centres are run by the British council, IELTS Australia or Cambridge University.
      ==> Test Duration
      The complete IELTS takes 2 hours and 45 minutes. The Listening, Reading and Writing modules are taken in one sitting. There are no breaks. The Speaking module may be takes within 7 Days before or after the other modules. It is usually taken the same afternoon or within 2 or 3 days. You will have to arrange for Speaking module at your test centre.
      ==> What Identification is required?
      Valid original ID cards, passport, driving license, student ID or national ID is required at the time of registration test date and continue same thing on the speaking test two.
      ==> What is a band?
      There is no pass /fail in IELTS. Test is scored in a band scale and band is a level of ability ranging from band of 0 to a band of 9.

      A band of 6.5 or 7 is a common requirement for university admission.
